As Chief Customer Officer, Maria is responsible for making sure the customer is at the heart of all of Starling’s business decisions. She oversees all aspects of the customer journey at Starling, aiming to ensure good outcomes for account holders and gain insight into how the bank can make improvements.
She joined Starling in 2022 after a varied career in financial services, with more than 25 years working in a number of senior operational and change management positions across retail banking and asset finance. Maria has extensive knowledge of customer support in a regulated environment, experience she applies to benefit those who bank with Starling.
