These are the terms and conditions for using Garmin Pay with your Starling account – for example, when you save your card to a Garmin device wallet and make payments.
Please make sure you read these terms carefully, as you’ll need to accept them before you can use Garmin Pay with your Starling account.
You should read this document with the Starling app terms and the terms of your account. All of these terms will apply when you use Garmin Pay.
Third-party terms
Where you use your Starling card with Garmin Pay, there may be other terms that apply – for example, Mastercard’s terms.
Unless we give the meaning of a word in these terms, we’ll use the meaning given in the terms for your account, the Starling app terms, or the Garmin Pay terms.
Garmin Pay is provided by Garmin. We’re not responsible for anything that goes wrong with your Garmin device or with Garmin Pay.
Where you’ve agreed other terms with Garmin – for example, terms relating to the Garmin Pay service as well as use of your Garmin device – these terms will also apply to your use of Garmin Pay.
How does Garmin Pay work?
You can link your Starling card to Garmin Pay by adding the Starling card to your wallet in the Garmin Connect™ Mobile app. After that, where the Garmin Pay sign is shown, just follow the relevant instructions (which may include security features such as entering a password or adding your fingerprint). Please note that contactless payment limits may apply depending on the retailer and payment terminal used.

How do I stop it?
To stop using Garmin Pay with your Starling card, go into the Garmin Connect™ Mobile app and remove the Starling card from your wallet.
Can Starling stop me from using Garmin Pay?
Yes, we can stop or limit your use of Garmin Pay with Starling accounts. Please see your account terms for details of when we can stop, limit or close your account.
Are there any security rules I have to follow?
It’s your responsibility to:

Read the terms of your account and Starling app: These also apply to using your card with Garmin Pay. The terms explain what you must and must not do to keep your device, app and account secure.

Keep your details safe: You must not share your account security details with anyone.

Tell us if you lose your device: If your Garmin device is lost or stolen, get in touch to let us know immediately either by sending us a message in the Starling app, via telephone on +44 (0) 207 930 4450, or email at help@starlingbank.com.

Take care when you change device: If you change your device, delete all relevant information including Garmin Pay. If we replace your debit card, we’ll link your new card to Garmin Pay automatically.
Does it cost anything to use Garmin Pay?
We don’t charge you when you use Garmin Pay.
